Thanksgiving

We went up to Logan for Thanksgiving this year. The car ride was nearly pain free thanks to a portable DVD player. I'm definitely thankful for that. There was a little traffic, but we made it safe and sound. After we arrived I realized I left my camera at home. So I took some pictures of Reagan today that I think are pretty cute, that'll have to do sorry.
Wednesday night we visited with Grandma and Grandpa Reid while we waited for everyone else to arrive. They surprised Reagan with a backpack they brought back for her from their trip to Peru. She loves it. She is so excited to have a backpack just like Dora.

Thursday morning the boys all went shooting, and the girls helped prepare the meal. Trever's cousin, Holly, spent the day playing with Reagan. I'm thankful for that too, then I could help with the meal and I got a break. After the food was prepared we loaded up the cars and headed to Karl and Janeal's house. There is where we enjoyed our feast and all the yummy pies. Janeal made a cheeseball that was to die for and Brandi made an awesome pumpkin roll. Some of us played scum, while others watched football and just visited the rest of the day. It was so fun spending time with our family.
We came home Friday afternoon, and we went to the festival of lights that night. Kadence and Reagan, mostly Reagan cried the whole way there. They loved the lights, colors shapes and all. Reagan loved the Whale, the Castle, the Snowman, and of course Santa.

I know what you mean about DVD players. We would have died without ours. Sounds like you had fun! Reagan is so cute.

Portable DVD Players are the best for long rides!! I LOVE the picture of Reagan with the sunglasses upside down! Isn't it funny how children do that!
