Football Season!

Growing up my siblings and I often attended University of Utah Football Games with my dad. He was a season ticket holder, but usually only had 4 seats so we had to take turns going. The first few games we were in the sun and hot, toward the end of the season we were bundled up in our warm winter clothes. Mom would send us off with a thermos of hot chocolate, thermos of Beef Stew, and many other snacks we might want. We never left a game early. The Ute's have always been a 4th quarter team. I loved being able to go to the games and cheering for our favorite team. Now as an adult I still enjoy football games. A few things have changed though. I still cheer on the Utes, but I also cheer for BYU(except on rivalry games). I have also learned to love the NFL. Thanks to Trever's family, I find myself looking forward to sitting down and everyone yelling at the TV. We all pick our own team to cheer on, but we all cheer for Dads Broncos and Moms Bears. Except when they play each other, of course. Last year we even taught Reagan to throw both her arms in the air and yell, Touchdown! She was only 1 then, but she did it pretty well. Mom and Dad even got us all hoodies with our favorite team's logo on it for Christmas one year. I think I enjoy it so much, because we do it as a family. There is nothing more important to me than spending time with my family. Most the time it includes good food too, who can resist mom's(Lori) ChiliCheese Dip or her Potato Soup? My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Football Season! BRING IT ON.....
